There is so much to discover at the Hallaton Fieldwork Group, something for all abilities from Geophysics, Excavation (not just physical digging, but drawing, finds processing, planning, research), to researching for the Roman Roads around Hallaton using archives. We have visits to other venues and support other groups in the county archaeology network with our geophysics, we also work outside the county at sites such as Deene Park.

We follow standard Chartered Institute for Archaeologist practices, we support a "closed" group social media site.
All of our finds are recorded on the Historic Environment Record and the Portable Antiquities Scheme.
